World Water Week, occurring every year in Stockholm, is one of the most important gatherings of international organizations, researchers and policymakers around freshwater issues.

UNEP will be organizing online sessions on Prioritizing Indigenous Peoples in Water Policy on 24 August, The World Water Quality Assessment on 25 August, Valuing Swimways/Rivers on 25 August (UNEP-WCMC), and an in-person session on Valuing Wetlands as Water and Climate Solutions on 31 August.

UNEP will also have a booth for sharing information and holding discussions around its work on water.
