The XXIII Meeting of the Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean was held in Panama City, Panama, on 24 - 26 October 2023, with the kind support of the Republic of Panama. The venue was the Marriott Panama Hotel, located in the Albrook district.
Overview schedule of activities
The High-Level Officers segment was held on 24 and 25 October, followed by the Ministerial segment on 26 October.
Previous registration was necessary to attend the Meeting of the Forum. Please contact unep-rolac-forumofministers@un.org
The XXIII Meeting of the Forum was organized in paralell with the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW), led by the UNFCCC secretariat, with the participation of representatives from the Egyptian Presidency of COP 27, the Presidency of COP 28 of the United Arab Emirates, and the High-Level Climate Action Champions. Ministers were invited to join the High-Level Segment of LACCW on 25 October.
No side events were be organized during the Meeting of the Forum.
