Guidance for evaluation managers

images

Evaluation managers play a key role in the evaluation process, from preparation of the terms of reference to the review and quality assurance of the evaluation reports.

The Evaluation Manager and the Programme Assistant are available throughout the evaluation process to provide guidance and information to consultants and project teams as required.

An evaluation process checklist has been developed by the Evaluation Office of UN Environment to provide Guidance for Evaluation Managers

Before any contractual arrangements to carry out an evaluation can be made, sufficient information about the project needs to be obtained from the UN Environment Project Team (Project Manager, Task Manager, Fund Management Officer). The Evaluation Manager should create a Dropbox folder that can be used to upload and share project documentation for the purposes of conducting the evaluation. The documentation list for the evaluation to be provided by the UN Environment Project Team can be downloaded here.
