South American Forum on Regional Cooperation to Support National Action Plans for Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining

The governments of Peru and the United States partnered to host a South American Forum on National Action Plans to Reduce Mercury from ASGM. The workshop provided space for officials from Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador to share experiences and best practices, as each country seeks to develop national action plans to reduce mercury use in the small-scale mining sector.
