At the first part of its first session (6 October 2022, Nairobi), the ad hoc open‑ended working group (OEWG) elected the following officers to be part of its Bureau, in accordance with rule 18 of the rules of procedure of the United Nations Environment Assembly, which it agreed to apply mutatis mutandis to its work.
Gudi Alkemade (Netherlands) was elected Chair of the ad hoc open-ended working group at the resumed first session (30 January to 3 February 2023, Bangkok).
