Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) deliver some of the best returns on investment when it comes to energy efficiency. By using energy savings to pay for the cost of equipment and infrastructure that creates those savings, ESCOs challenge the mantra that emissions reductions come at a cost that many, particularly developing countries, are unable to carry.
The Global ESCO Network works to inspire governments to scale up the contribution of ESCOs to meet the Paris Agreement goals.
The Global ESCO Network’s Secretariat is co-managed by the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre and the Efficiency Valuation Organization.
