The Alliance for Greening Skills and Opportunities (AGSO) Kenya: The first inaugural National Green Jobs & Skills Development Workshop, fostering youth economic opportunities in the green economy was held last year paving the way for AGSO. AGSO Kenya is the country's first multi-sectoral partnership aimed at advancing green skills and opportunities.

UNDA project for Cuba, Senegal and Madagascar on Strengthening Policies and Capacities for Green Jobs for Youth: Targeting policymakers to strengthen knowledge and capacity on green youth employment, as well as enhancing inter-ministerial coordination and cooperation with social partners, education institutions and youth organizations to jointly implement green youth employment policies in high-impact sectors.

Regional implementation of the Green Jobs for Youth Pact in LAC: Through advocacy efforts, including participation in high-level regional conferences and events, and youth engagement, the Pact is working with decision-makers to emphasize the importance of creating green job opportunities for youth. Green skills for circular economy in plastics have been prioritized as a sector priority, a diagnostic framework is being developed to identify scalable models for green skills offerings that advance a circular economy for plastics, in collaboration with 74 universities of ARIUSA network.
