The Global Environment Outlook is UNEP’s most ambitious scientific assessment on the state and trends of the global environment and outlooks for the future. GEO-7 will be focused on solutions to tackle the climate change, biodiversity loss as well as pollution and waste crises, together with land degradation. It will identify transformation pathways for the food and energy systems, circularity and current economic models. Led by Co-chairs, Prof. Nyovani Madise and Sir Robert Watson, GEO-7 will be the most digital and innovative so far.
