This is a Mid-term evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented from 2011 and expected to be completed in 2016. The project objective is to increase the institutional, individual and systemic capacities of stakeholders to effectively implement the Biological Diversity Act to achieve biodiversity conservation through implementing ABS in India. Key questions for this evaluation concerned achievement of outputs, effectiveness, sustainability and replicability, and factors affecting project performance.
