UNEP Programme of Work and Budget for 2022‒2025 (POW) - Annex 1 of For People and Planet

This document presents the programme of work for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for 2022 to 2025, along with the associated budget. The programme of work sets out the UNEP results framework, focused on the strategic objectives outlined in the medium- term strategy.

As per Decision 5/4 adopted by the fifth UN Environment Assembly on 2 March 2022, the programme of work (POW) for the period 2022–2023 was extended by two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic to the end of 2025. This exceptional decision allowed for the continuation of environmental initiatives, with the budget and targets pro-rated accordingly.
