The UN Environment Programme, working in partnership with the UN Department of Global Communications, held a virtual Youth Flagship Event to commemorate World Environment Day on 4 June, 2021, under the theme Reimagine, Recreate, Restore.
Youth from different sectors, media personalities, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders participated in a virtual event and called to action for our ecosystems. Speakers shared experiences and individual actions they take in their daily lives to protect the planet.
